We are looking for…
...an experienced performance nutritionist who is highly driven and enthusiastic, who can provide personalized and periodized nutrition to our Riders during races and training camps through the use of a team system. You will work closely with the Head of Performance Nutrition as well as a team of performance nutritionists and chefs.
Your tasks:
- Implement nutrition strategies in line with the guiding principles of the nutrition team.
- Work closely with the chefs to prepare and deliver personalized and periodized nutrition to riders using the teams software.
- Work closely with the other disciplines to deliver best in class nutrition services.
- Help develop recipes and calculate nutritional values of meals.
- Actively consult in discussions to develop and improve SOPs, protocols and processes.
- Providing applied high-performance services to athletes (and coaches and/or sport directors).
- Advising individual riders in home and in race situations when needed and assisting them with using the software at home.
- Be able to write or participate in writing white papers on important topics.
- Develop educational materials for riders and staff when needed.
- Communicate with the hotels when needed.
- Making sure all sports nutrition (supplements) provided is safe and tested through the Informed Sport scheme or similar where appropriate.
- Organise sweat testing sessions and hydration checks as well as other testing.
Your Profile:
- You are educated to a degree level within Sports nutrition / Sports dietetics. In special cases sport science will be considered as well but may require additional education efforts.
- You have extensive work experience within sports nutrition with (elite) athletes and/or cycling, specifically.
- Preferably, you are SENr registered and hold an IOC diploma sports nutrition.
- You can work with great cleanliness and attention for hygiene.
- You possess a strong willingness to work hard and such hours as necessary to carry out your duties.
- You do not cut corners ethically.
- You speak and write clearly and articulately.
- You actively reach out to stakeholders to establish an overall collaborative working relationship.
- You quickly adjust to changing priorities and conditions. You cope effectively with complexity and change.
